Reading Corner #1

January Reading Corner

I’m always on the lookout for good books to read and explore. The reading corner is my current list of books that are helping me grow and learn. Join in sharing your current list in comments and why you’re reading them!

Rich Dad’s Rich Kid Smart Kid by Robert T. Kivosaki. I had read Rich Dad Poor Dad when it came out about 10 years ago. With teenagers in the house, I want to help them learn and understand personal finances and managing their money.

The Art of Persuasion: A National Review Rheotric for Writers by Linda Bridges & William F. Rickenbacker. Writing is a skill that requires focus and fundamental training. I’ve written on and off over the years. I need to continue to improve my communication through writing!

The spiral notebook is Bodyminder: Workout & Exercise Journal by MemoryMinder Journal. My goal this year is to get back on track with exercise and eating. This journal is one of the best that I’ve found in helping log cardio, strength training, food, measurements, and thoughts.

Tribe of Mentors by Timothy Ferriss. Are you looking for motivational insights and practices of highly successful people from all walks of life? The premise of the book is based on five to eight key questions in which they share their thoughts. A great mix of quotes, books and ideas to inspire us in our own personal and professional journeys!

What are you currently reading? I’m always looking for new additions to the book list for future reading!
